Working as a full time nanny, and Alyssa as an elementary school teacher we are eager to be the hands and feet of the Lord. It is clear to us that there is no such thing as a junior Holy Spirit. Children's ministry is a foundation and we take seriously the building blocks God has entrusted us to build with. Jesus is the center of every teaching in our classrooms, and we long to see our ministry catalyze a zeal and fire for God in the heart of every child. We are excited to be having monthly children's Ministry events every last Saturday of the month. Our nursery is for children Ages Newborn-3. And big kids class is children ages 4-11. We have snacks, a lesson, and playtime.

Marissa Chavez and Alyssa Ayala

Both are driven to pour the love of God into the hearts of his precious Children. Marissa is the daughter of pastor Santos, having attended Street Light her whole life, she has served in worship and youth ministry. In the past year the Lord began to tug her heart in a new direction, the children's ministry! Alyssa has also diligently stepped up to the rewarding task, planning lessons and teaching in the kids ministry for the past 2 years. Alyssa is a school teacher and has a heart for youth and children to know the Lord !

 "People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them.
