The SLC Bright's Children's Ministry strives to provide an enjoyable, safe, and Christ-centered environment for our nursery, preschooler's, and school aged classes. We meet a lot of families who are reluctant to come because they have children but that's all the more reason to come! With a 6 year old of our own, we've seen how even a child can develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The joy and knowledge that comes with it is so rewarding.  We have a curriculum that focuses on one topic which are spread out throughout the month. We purposely repeat scriptures to help introduce scripture memorization as we know children's minds are like sponges. With any given topic we implement crafts, games, activities & snacks. We have monthly Children's Ministry events such as Sky Zone, ice skating, pizza parties, and many more!  It's exciting to see the kids run out of class with their crafts and knowledge they've soaked in. That for us is the goal, that these kids can learn about God while having fun and making friends while their parents are able to receiving in church service. Children are not a burden, they are not to be overlooked or underestimated, they are Bright's! 

Justin & Julie Corona

have been leading our children’s ministry for 6 years. Once their son Joseph was born they knew the right path to take was abiding in Jesus Christ and finding a way to serve in church ministry. They both have learned that being able to train our future generation in the ways of the Lord is not only rewarding, but necessary. They find ways to effectively teach the Bible to our Street Light Brights while maintaining a safe and fun environment. If they’re not serving at church you will find Julie studying for school in efforts towards becoming a nurse and Justin helping someone get a DIY project done. It takes a lot of perseverance to create a household space where Jesus is the center, especially with busy schedules and caring for children but the Corona’s strive to set this example. From teaching your children Bible lessons, to setting up play dates, or meeting at monthly Street Light Brights events, Justin and Julie hope to get to know you and your family! ​
